Redlines
Redline management for fiber construction
Redlines are where the money gets stuck. The crew is done, but the job cannot be billed until someone confirms the as-built footage and the client signs off. FiberLytic puts that whole step in one workflow.
One path from field to billing
Every job moves through the same stages:
Unassigned → Assigned → Pending Redlines → Client Review → Ready to Invoice → Billed
Everyone can see where each job is stuck, and rejected jobs go back to the right step with a note explaining why.
Redline specialists confirm the numbers
Before a job goes to the client, a redline specialist confirms the final totals: strand, fiber, overlash and conduit footage. Those confirmed numbers are what the invoice uses, not the first number the crew typed in.
Markup on the construction map
The construction map PDF lives on the job. Crews and redline specialists can mark it up and attach the redline file, so the as-built and the job record never drift apart.
Client review with an audit trail
Your client reviews redlines in their own portal and approves or rejects each job. Approval requires the client's SR number, and every decision is logged with the name of the person who made it and a timestamp. When the client approves, the job moves to Ready to Invoice on its own.
Why it matters
A redline that sits in someone's inbox for two weeks is two weeks of cash you did the work for and cannot collect. Putting redlines, review and approval in the same system as production shortens that wait.
