Field Production
Field production tracking for fiber construction crews
Your crew finishes a span, logs it on their phone, and the office sees it the same day. No texts, no photos lost in a group chat, no spreadsheet at the end of the week.
Aerial footage, span by span
Crews log each span by work type: strand and fiber, strand only, fiber only, overlash, second-pass overlash and FP, with snowshoe and coil footage on top. Hardware is counted on the same entry: anchors, coils, snowshoes, pole transfers and handholes.
Partial submissions are allowed, so a crew can close out what it finished today and come back tomorrow for the rest.
Underground and conduit production
Drill and missile crews log production against the underground billing codes on your rate card, or by the day when the job is paid that way. The same job record holds start and end photos and markups drawn right on the construction map.
Every footage entry gets a GPS check
FiberLytic measures the distance between the two GPS points of a span and compares it with the footage the crew reported:
- GPS Verified: within 10% of the reported footage
- GPS Close: within 25%
- GPS Mismatch: anything past that, flagged for review before it reaches an invoice
Mismatches stand out, so the review goes where it is needed.
Photos are part of the entry, not an afterthought
Photos are required where your provider requires them. Each one is stamped and attached to the job, so the evidence for billing is already there when the closeout is due.
Built for places with no signal
Rural fiber work means dead zones. When the phone is offline, changes are saved on the device and sent automatically when the connection comes back. Stamped photos that fail to upload are queued and retried.
Pay updates as the work comes in
Every production submission recalculates what the crew has earned against your rate card, so pay is current all week, not rebuilt on payday.
